The history behind Bluebird

Bluebird London NYC encompasses an all-day café and wine bar, cocktail lounge, and international brasserie all overlooking Central Park.

The restaurant, envisioned by restaurant group D&D London, is an expansion of the beloved Chelsea namesake, helmed by Executive Chef Nicholas Houlbert. The name derives itself from the record-breaking race car driven by famed motorist Sir Malcolm Campbell, which set the land-speed record in 1925, especially fitting given the original UK location is located within an Art Deco garage.

Bluebird is a Chelsea landmark of 20 years – an iconic restaurant in the heart of the Kings Road and at the forefront of London’s restaurant and social scene.
